  • Huntington Library, Pasadena area, (Gutenberg Bible, early manuscripts and books, Kelmscot Chaucer)
  • Archetype Press at Art Center School of Design, Pasadena (great book arts letterpress lab and exhibits)
  • Kater Craft Bookbinders, Pico Rivera and Whittier area (large hand bindery with collection of special bindings on exhibit)

Evening Reception

  • Kevin Bradley’s Church of Type in Santa Monica, 7:30 pm, one of the truly amazing and spiritual letterpress destinations in the county. Kevin will be our host for the evening in his sanctuary, probably in his kilt and coon hat, with his bold and colorful posters up to 10 feet in height surrounding you on all sides of his printing shop and store (including the ceiling!) This is a rare opportunity to see the Church of Type so plan to arrive early to the Wayzgoose (we will have a shuttle van leaving from Carson for those interested).
